How to Manually Control the Release of any Emails

After Admin Users configure Email Templates, they have the option to select the initial state of an email when it is added to the queue. The choices include:

  • New – This setting adds the email to the queue, and any email sent using this template will be dispatched automatically. This is the default setting.
  • On Hold – Opting for ‘On Hold’ permits Admins to queue system-generated emails (such as Welcome emails for creating Viewers) and gives them manual control over when these emails are sent. In this scenario, the emails are added to the Email Log/Queue at the top of the list and are held without sending until manually released.
