How to Simultaneously Update Parent and Child Entries with the Same Family ID
Managing Awards with multiple progression stages often requires Administrators to make identical updates across a range of Parent and Child Entry forms within the same Award Entry, based on a shared family ID—a process that can quickly become time-consuming and error-prone. To streamline this workflow, Nucleus includes a feature designed to simplify these updates by leveraging the family ID structure. This feature enables Administrators to make a single edit to a form, which is then automatically cloned across all related Parent and Child Entry Forms linked by the same family ID.
By using this functionality, Administrators can ensure that essential information remains consistent across all stages without the need for repetitive manual updates. This not only saves valuable time but also reduces the risk of errors that can arise from multiple individual edits. The family ID-based cloning feature in Nucleus provides a reliable way to maintain accuracy and consistency across Awards, enhancing overall efficiency in Awards management.
