 New features and enhanced functionality that we’ve added to Nucleus.

Question List & Questions
Bulk Actions for Question List
You can now perform bulk actions for questions in the Question List. You will be able to Delete, Copy or Move a specified range of questions.

Email Management
‘On Hold’ Emails
You can now choose the initial state of an email when it is added to the queue: ‘New’ (the default) or ‘On Hold’. Setting an email to ‘On Hold’ will allow you to queue system generated emails, such as Welcome emails when creating Viewers, and control when they are sent manually.

This is done when editing an email template, in the new ‘Add emails to queue in this state’ option.

New – this is how emails have previously worked. Setting to this will add any email sent using this template to the email queue and will be sent automatically. This is the default setting.On Hold – this will add an email sent using this template to the queue, but it will not send until released manually.’On Hold’ emails will be added to the email log/queue in a section at the top of the list and will be held without sending until manually released.
To release a single email, go to the email in the queue and click on ‘Details’. This will show allow you to click ‘Release’ to immediately add the email to the live sending queue.

To release a batch of emails in bulk, filter the email log/queue and the bulk options will appear at the top of the right column.

Delivery Priority
Each email template, including per award specific template, can now have a delivery priority set of ‘Low’, ‘Medium’ or ‘High’. This means that high priority emails will jump to the top of the queue and be sent ahead of lower priority emails.

The main scenario for a high priority is ‘Forgotten Password’ emails for users and viewers as it is important to get them to the individual quickly.You can amend the priority of an individual email in the queue before it is sent in the ‘Details’ section in the email log/queue.

Email Template Header/Footer
The ‘Include standard header and footer?’ option in new Email Templates now defaults to ‘Please Select…’ and requires a value before the template can be saved. This gives you control over template’s design without the header/footer being missed and defaulting to the incorrect option.

Viewers
Floating Save Buttons
When reviewing entries on the viewing site, additional Save and Save & Close buttons are added to the top right and will float with the page as the Viewer scrolls.

This means the Viewer no longer has to scroll to the bottom of the page to save their scores and/or comments.

Bug Fixes
 We’ve squashed a few bugs to make Nucleus better
Fixed an issue that meant Users could sometimes submit a form before a video had been uploaded to a mandatory ‘Video’ type question.
Fixed an issue where some links in the VideoUploadList would navigate to a obsolete URL, links replaced with status messages.
Fixed an issue that stopped the resubmit button working for admins.
