Setting Visibility Status for Questions

Nucleus allows Admins to specify which users can see the questions on the entry form, therefore hiding the questions from either Admin users or Entrant users. There might be occasions where Admins want to create questions where Admins can write comments or issue scores for applications that the Entrant should not see. It also might be that Admins wish to hide questions on the Administration Interface when checking a form. Commentaries or Dividers that are text-heavy can be hidden for admins and allow them to check entries easier.

Within the question settings, there are four options for Question Display. Using the checkboxes admins can define any combination of the following:

  • All – the question will appear for all users
  • Admin Only – the question will only be displayed on the admin form and hidden for entrants
  • Entrant Owner – the question will only be displayed on the entrant form to the owner of the entry and hidden for admins
  • Shared user – the question will only be displayed on the entrant form to the user the entry has been shared with

How to set the Visibility Status for a question

  1. Log into the Admin Interface
  2. Go to Actions>Question List
  3. Locate the question you wish to change and click Edit
  4. For the option Question Display select:
    1. All
    2. Admin Only
    3. Entrant Owner
    4. Shared User
  5. Click Save & Close

Note – If selecting Admin Only the question will be highlighted in Grey in the Question List to help you identify it. The column Question Display on the question list can be used to filter for different question display settings.
